Lead Hazard Control Program Homeless Program Development of Affordable Housing

Lynchburg Lead Initiatives LNDF managed the City's lead-hazard control program, Lynchburg Lead Initiatives, from 1997 through July 2002. The program arose out of a large grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and conducted lead hazard intervention in 180 homes and provided education and outreach services to more than 300 residents of low-income neighborhoods of the City.
