How Does it Work?
How does Shelter Plus Care work?
Through a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the City of Lynchburg can provide rent subsidies to tenants who agree to participate in the five year program.
Prospective tenants may select units ranging in size from 1-3 bedrooms depending on family composition. Each apartment will be within easy access of transportation, shopping, medical, childcare, and supportive services.
